Event Details

Those with a travel itch as well as lovers of music can dive right into a “road trip style” presentation by co-authors Josephine Matyas and Craig Jones.

This writing/musician combo has zigzagged across North America in their camper van, visiting museums and special sites connected with the music of the 20th-century … the tunes that are the soundtrack of our lives. And now, they’d like to take you along to explore their favourites. It could be the Motown Museum in Detroit, the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Kentucky, the National Museum of African American Music in Nashville, the Bob Dylan Center in Tulsa, the beautiful Studio Bell in Calgary, or many more.

There will be lots of slides, time for questions, and an opportunity to share your experiences!

Presented in partnership with Welland Museum.

With funding support from the Canada Council for the Arts through The Writers' Union of Canada.
