Niagara's Mobile Closet returns to WPL with their completely free shopping experience for those with clothing and show accessibility barriers. Several community support organizations offering resources and information will also be on site.

Join this program to learn about parenting in a positive way. You’ll learn strategies you can use and adapt to suit your family’s needs.

Learn about speech and language strategies that can be applied to everyday routines and activities. A registered Speech-Language Pathologist will walk you through how to successfully use the strategies with your child (infant to 3 years).

Our live paint class continues! Join artist Robin Nisbet as she instructs a 
live step-by-step paint on canvas class. This class is for all skill levels and supplies will be 
provided. Fee: $5.00/person

The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah is an emotional and beautifully written story about two sisters navigating love, loss, and survival in WWII France.

 Beginner-friendly, gentle Hatha yoga for everybody. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, and eye pillow (if you have one). Presented in partnership with the City of Welland.

Visit with dogs from Therapeutic Paws of Canada (TPOC) at the library! Read with TPOC certified dogs who help to provide stress relief and comfort, and really love a good book. 

Thinking about writing? Maybe a journal, a memoir, some poetry or the next great novel?

Pose and stretch in this yoga class designed for older adults. Presented in partnership with the Seaway Mall.

In collaboration with NHS Outpatient Mental Health, this book club will alternate discussing small portions of selected books and connecting with others through activities.

Join us every Thursday at the Seaway Mall library branch for an afternoon of Scrabble fun starting at 1pm. 

In partnership with the Welland Heritage Council and Bridges Niagara, this group is open to newcomers or anyone looking to improve their English language skills.

Kids will listen to stories, sing songs, and enjoy a weekly craft while parents will discover ways to promote early literacy at home and meet other caregivers.
