Discover Story & Sketch – A Creative Morning for Families in Welland!

Join us for Story & Sketch, a unique collaboration between the Welland Public Library and the Art Gallery of Welland, designed to spark creativity and imagination in our community. This one-hour, family-friendly program invites children and families to gather for a lively storytime led by one of our wonderful librarians, followed by an engaging art activity inspired by the book.

Under the guidance of Brianna DePaolo, Programming Director at the Art Gallery of Welland, participants will explore drawing and colouring with pencils and pencil crayons—no experience required, just a love for stories and making art! All materials are provided, and every participant will have the chance to display their finished piece in the library’s community art case.

Whether you’re a budding young artist, a parent looking for something special to do together, or a grandparent wanting to share a creative experience, Story & Sketch is the perfect way to connect, learn, and celebrate creativity in Welland.
